Helpful Digital resources

This is a collection of resources people I work with often find helpful.

I have no commercial relationship with any of these resources - I just want to share them with people who might be helped by them.

To help with executive function: planning, sequencing, initiating tasks and projects

Goblin Tools - a set of free AI tools, the most helpful of which (in my opinion) is the Magic To-Do List, which will break down a task into small steps, according to the ‘spiciness’ of the task (i.e. how overwhelming it feels to you).

Tiimo - a paid visual planning app that allows users to create routines. It takes an initial investment of time and energy to identify and describe the tasks you want to add to your routines, but many people find this extremely helpful.

Notion - a database-driven productivity app (whose free version has everything most people need) allowing users to store content and create linked databases in ways that help them streamline their work and personal lives.

To help with concentration / focus / nervous system regulation / cognitive overwhelm:

Brain.fm - a paid app with ‘functional music’ designed to induce particular brain states. I find this much more helpful than standard white noise. There are options for sleep, relaxation, and focus.

Neurofit - offers tailored recommendations for body-based activities to help with nervous system regulation. Caveat: this may not be suitable for those with health anxiety as there are aspects of the app that encourage you to monitor

Animi app - an app designed to help people with alexithymia recognise and articulate their emotional state, which can in turn help with nervous system and emotional regulation.
